About this place
The mixed juice is a natural place to start at Sennariya Coffee. Diners have described it as rich, while another noted its slightly icy texture and the way the fruit flavours blend together. It comes in a regular size as well as a large, a Royal Mixed Juice and a float, so you can choose according to your appetite. One diner found the large size rather heavy on the ice, so the regular may be a good first choice.
For a more substantial meal, consider the baked Napolitan. One diner who had it for lunch praised the chewy noodles, their crisp patches and the delicious browned cheese. It could make a satisfying pairing with mixed juice when you want more than a light café snack. Sandwiches include several egg-focused options: double-egg, triple-egg, egg cutlet and thick rolled omelette. The fruit sandwich is also available in a half size, handy when you fancy just a little something sweet.
Coffee is available in three roasts—dark, medium-dark and light—and can be prepared by hand drip or siphon. The menu describes the dark roast as a full-bodied blend of Kilimanjaro and Colombia, the medium-dark as balanced in body and bitterness, and the light roast as bright with acidity. You can choose by roast as well as brewing method, making it an option for lingering over a cup after a meal. For dessert, there is retro pudding and pudding à la mode; the Royal Retro Pudding comes with ice cream and extra caramel. A diner who tried it recalled that the rich caramel went especially well with both the pudding and the ice cream.
Stop in for mixed juice during a wander around Shinsekai, or make a meal of baked Napolitan or sandwiches. Breakfast and lunch menus are also available. The café opens at 9:00 on Saturdays and Sundays, and from 11:30 on weekdays.
